Synopsis[]
Ruri Hijiribe's stalker is not one person, but a group of 20 like-minded, obsessive fans who, on orders from Kisuke Adabashi, are targeting everyone who has had anything to do with Ruri. When Mikado Ryuugamine, using his admin privileges on the Dollars forum, uncovers their private conversations, he sends the Blue Squares to protect his friends and acquaintances, including Shizuo Heiwajima and Anri Sonohara. Celty Sturluson hurries home to find Shinra Kishitani barely conscious, and she rushes him to a hospital. Masaomi Kida, who is with Shizuo, follows the Blue Squares until he comes face-to-face with their new leader, his best friend, who asks him to stay away from Ikebukuro until the idealized city Mikado is trying to create for him has come to fruition.
Back in Ikebukuro, the information broker Izaya Orihara has gathered a group of close allies and is ready to unveil his newest scheme.
