Ikebukuro's Most Dangerous is the third chapter of the Saika Arc manga adaptation.
Synopsis[]
Celty Sturluson approaches Shizuo Heiwajima to ask him if he has been alright recently. Shizuo says that nothing has really happened but has been reminiscing about the past. He then retells the first time he had used his monstrous strength back in his childhood and the many incidents that followed after it.
He first tells her of when he got angry at his younger brother Kasuka and attempted to throw a refrigerator at him in his rage. This ended with Shizuo breaking his arms and severely hurting himself. Some time later, he is mocked by some of his fellow classmates and snaps, throwing a desk at the kids and injuring himself again. And Shizuo recites an incident with a young woman he tried to save who he accidentally got hurt instead.
After Shizuo expresses his disdain towards his own strength and lack of ability to control his anger, he changes the topic and asks why Celty stopped by. Celty then informs Shizuo of the someone related to the Slasher incidents mentioning his name and a reporter who had interviewed him the other day had just been a new victim of the Slasher's.
