Synopsis[]
Mikado Ryuugamine and Masaomi Kida start high school at Raira Academy. A girl in Mikado's class, Mika Harima, is absent. After school, Masaomi shows Mikado another part of town, and they meet Masaomi's acquaintances Walker and Erika. Later, Simon Brezhnev tries to solicit them to eat sushi in his restaurant, and the pair run into Izaya Orihara, who appears interested in meeting Mikado. From the few extraordinary people they have encountered in just a few days, Mikado continues to marvel at the size and mystery of the city.
