Following her fight with the thugs, the Headless Rider returns home. Her roommate, Shinra Kishitani, presents hypotheses to the workings of her supernatural, headless body. Celty is in a bad mood after being hit by the thugs' car, but as she relaxes for the evening, she reflects on how her personal values are becoming more and more human.
